The Samsung Galaxy S10 is shaping up to be something very special indeed. Previously, we've heard rumblings of a fingerprint-sensing touchscreen, a truly bezel-free display and a Exynos 9820 CPU featuring a next-gen Mongoose M4 core. Now we have some equally intriguing news about the camera.

Weibo user 'Ice Universe', who has a pretty good track record when it comes to leaking sensitive Samsung tidbits, has revealed that the Galaxy S 10 will come with the next-gen 5 G technology on board.

To channel Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap, this is "one more" than the Huawei P20 Pro. As most of you will recall, that phone recently made headlines for having three rear-facing cameras.

The S10's camera arrangement will reportedly include a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view. There will also be two front-facing cameras with the second dedicated to taking selfies in Portrait Mode. The remaining two cameras will presumably be similar to those found on the Galaxy S9.

While some might dismiss multiple cameras as a gimmick, it cannot be denied that they translate to better photography when the manufacturing is sound. The aforementioned Huawei P20 Pro achieved DxOMark's highest overall score of 109 points and set a new benchmark for smartphone cameras. This was in large part thanks to its innovative triple camera setup.
