She posted the comment along with a laughing as well as a shrugging emoji, later saying she didn't really care about the comment and was "just fascinated how anyone could think that's a good thing to say."

Payne responded to Szubanski's comment, saying, "I did laugh and I didn't care too much but the disgusting part was that part that got to me a bit. End of the day, I'm embracing my curves, lol!"

Overwhelmed by the support she received following the post, Payne also pointed out that comments like those made to her can "tip people over the edge".

"I'm not that sensitive but I am a bit upset about the 'disgusting' part I have to say lol."
