The full schedule of the 2019 Cricket World Cup has been revealed.

The schedule was approved by the ICC's chief executives' committee and will be officially presented to the ICC Board, for final approval, on Thursday in Kolkata.

Australia and New Zealand co-hosted the most recent instalment of the Cricket World Cup back in 2015, with Michael Clarke's Aussies victorious over Brendon McCullum's Black Caps.

The 2019 tournament will mark the fifth time that the Cricket World Cup will be held in England and Wales, following 1975, 1979, 1983 and 1999 World Cups.

Who will Australia play?

The tournament's opening match will be played between the hosts, England, and South Africa at The Oval on Thursday 30 May 2019.

Australia's first hit-out will be against Afghanistan in Bristol two days later.

The Aussies will play three day/night matches, while England, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka won't play any day-night matches in the round-robin phase.

The semi-finals and final are all day games.

The Aussies are the most successful team in World Cup history, having won the tournament five times (1987, 1999, 2003, 2007, 2015).

The West Indies (1975, 1979) and India (1983, 2011) have won twice each, while Pakistan (1992) and Sri Lanka (1996) are the tournament's other winners.
