DEL POTRO, CILIC AVOID UPSETS

Although six seeded players suffered exits on Wednesday, Juan Martin del Potro and Marin Cilic were able to advance.

Del Potro progressed in straight sets at the expense of rising Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Cilic had to work harder on day two of his rain-interrupted match with Ryan Harrison, but ultimately won 6-7 (3-7) 6-1 7-6 (7-1).
