Ronke, who came to the Swans from the local competition, said he had learned a lot from Kieran Jack since joining the senior side.

“I’ve spent a bit of time with Kieran Jack who plays a similar role to me so it’s good having him around to soak up as much advice as possibly as I can,’ Ronke said.

“Having my locker around players like Lance Franklin, Dane Rampe and Luke Parker, I just try and soak up as much as I can from blokes like that.”

Ronke said he hoped to retain his place in the team when Franklin returned from injury, with the star Swans forward missing the last three games with a bruised heel.
