Collingwood could have more bad AFL injury news with speculation that Tyson Goldsack could be out for the season.

The Magpies are sweating on the results of more scans on Monday, after Goldsack hurt a knee during Saturday's pre-season win over the Western Bulldogs.

There was no indication during or after the game that Goldsack had suffered the injury.

But the fear is that the popular tall utility has damaged an anterior cruciate ligament, potentially meaning a season-ending reconstruction.

Goldsack, 30, has played 161 games since his 2007 debut and was a member of Collingwood's 2010 premiership team.
