The 23-year-old has signed on a one-year deal, starting next season.

Elliot played 23 games for Newcastle over the last 18 months.

A Gold Coast native, Elliot says the move back home is a big part of why he signed the deal.

“I can’t wait, all my family and friends are there and as my partner is from the Gold Coast as well, we can’t wait to get back there," he said.

“That’s definitely part of the reason (to come to the Titans). It’s a really good opportunity and I’ll be looking to get some more minutes in the NRL.

“It’s good to have that versatility (across positions) but I would love to be able to lock down one spot. I don’t really have a preference, I’d just like to string a number of games together in the one position if I can."

Elliot debuted for the Roosters on the wing in 2014, playing 14 games and scoring nine tries for the Tricolours.
