  Tagataese set to move to Brookvale © Sporting News Manly's search for a replacement for Brenton Lawrence took only a matter of weeks with the club set to add veteran Sam Tagataese to their forward pack next season.

After an official announcement on Tuesday, Lawrence will move back home to the Gold Coast in 2018 and will be the second experienced prop Manly have lost after Nate Myles transferred to Melbourne mid-season.

Wide World of Sports' The Mole has named Tagataese as the man to fill the hole after he couldn't come to terms with the Sharks.

The 30-year-old was part of Cronulla's 2016 premiership side and has provided useful backup when Andrew Fifita is on Origin duties and also been a great tool off the bench.

The Sea Eagles will be Tagataese's fourth club after enjoying previous stints with Melbourne, Gold Coast and Cronulla, clocking 155 games in his 11-year NRL career.
