That’s what Zemarcuis Devon Scott, 18, gave as his excuse when he was allegedly caught in the cockpit of a jet, according to a probable cause affidavit and reporting from the Texarkana Gazette.

An 18-year-old Arkansas man allegedly attempted to steal a commercial plane to go to a rap concert . Zemarcuid Devon Scott reportedly said that he was going

Airport security at the Texarkana Regional Airport in Texarkana, Arkansas, reportedly contacted police on July 4 around 2:30 a.m. to say a man had jumped a fence and attempted to enter a twin-engine jet.

Once the police arrived on the scene, Scott was allegedly found in the pilot seat of the jet and was reportedly recognized by two of the three reporting officers from previous encounters.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Scott allegedly told police that he didn’t believe there was more to flying a plane than pushing buttons and pulling levers, and that he was going to an out-of-state rap concert.

Scott was charged last week with commercial burglary and attempted theft of property with a value greater than $25,000, both felony offenses punishable by three to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000, according to the Texarkana Gazette.

Scott is currently being held on $25,000 bail in the Miller County jail and is expected to appear in court later this month.
