Tinder adds GIF-like video loops to spice up your dating profile

Tinder adds GIF-like video loops to spice up your dating profile If you're a dating app regular, you know that a photo only says so much about yourself. Tinder thinks there's a better balance between the two. It's launching a Loops feature that (surprise) adds two-second looping videos to your profile alongside the usual still shots. You just have to trim an existing video to portray yourself as a fun-loving party person or tender romantic.

A woman ' s Tinder profile pic prompted a debate about the direction toilet paper should hang. The over /under toilet roll debate is a highly contentious one. Some say the toilet paper should be hung " over ," so the loose paper hangs off the exterior.

Hana Michels, 30, posted a funny bathroom selfie as the first photo on her Tinder profile, featuring her in a towel and a shower cap with an electric toothbrush in her mouth.

But drawing a fair amount of attention was her toilet paper roll, a minor detail in the background, which was oriented the "wrong" way.

"Deal breaker for sure," one Reditter said.

Another commented, "I have that premium. I’d swipe left. Redo, and then swipe left again. Never trust a girl that has her toilet paper like that."

This is my tinder profile . I’ve had it for a year. 23 men have contacted me to say I’m incorrect It all began in 1989, when the book The First Really Important Survey of American Habits polled the people on proper toilet paper orientation . I changed the rules & fixed our toilet paper over -under problem.

A woman , who posted a picture of her Tinder profile , has inadvertently started a debate over toilet paper online. Hana Michels, who is based in the US, tweeted out a funny bathroom selfie she used on a dating app.

Michels took the criticism in stride. In fact, she posted her own photo to r/Tinder with the caption, "This is my tinder profile.  I’ve had it for a year. 23 men have contacted me to say I’m incorrect about toilet paper."

Michels says the situation has been quite the learning experience.

“The thing I found out about this is that a lot of people have a really strong preference," Michels said in an interview with InsideEdition.com. "As long as it made it onto the roll, then I'm happy."

Michels, who writes satire for a living, explained that the Tinder profile was a joke account.

“I get more super likes with the weird one, but I go on much fewer actual dates," Michels said. "The way toilet paper is installed apparently tells people a lot about their potential mates."

Although she doesn't take the criticism personally, "I do zero in on little things now and I’m really self-conscious when I put toilet paper on the roll now."

Is Amazon's big online sale a fail? .
Amazon launched down under in December, and at midday yesterday the online store kicked off its first ever Amazon Prime sale, which runs until midnight tonight.  But of the 467 deals across 23 categories offered on the website, many are simply random. For example, Kleenex flushable wipes, toilet paper, Veet hair removal starter kit, and a pole pruner chain – whatever that is.While some of these products are necessary, they're not necessarily items to get overly excited about. © Provided by Nine Digital Pty Ltd Amazon's Prime Day sale has had a mixed reaction, with some discounts raising eyebrows.
