Many years ago I had the opportunity to work with a very unique musician - Bon Scott . At that time Bon was with an Australian rock group called 'Fraternity'.

When AC/DC frontman Bon Scott died after a "night of misadventure" back in 1980, it left a huge creative and personal void for the band and fans alike. Here are 10 of the very best examples.

The Bachelorette, a bespoke bitcoin and Bon Scott, the latest imbroglio enveloping tech and entertainment entrepreneur Ron Creevey has a very Australian flavour.

Creevey has launched into the world of crypto currencies as he seeks to stave off bankruptcy proceedings that involve celebrity singer Sophie Monk.

Should the project succeed, the proceeds from the PecuniaX coin offering will be, in part, ploughed into making a documentary about late AC/DC front man Bon Scott.

But it could be a long way to the top as some of his creditors want to rock and roll Creevey first.

Ronald Belford “ Bon ” Scott was an Australian musician of Scottish origins who rose to fame as the leading singer and songwriter of the hugely popular hard rock band AC/DC during the 1970s. The very next year, the album ‘Powerage’ was released.

This already downbeat tale of the lonely parts of life on the road took on extra depth following Bon Scott 's tragic passing in 1980. The song's lyrics find him regretting empty bottles, broken promises and his own "evil ways," but also admitting he's not ready to change just yet.

In early February, the Federal Court allowed the private company of Monk, Monk Media International, to be added as a petitioning creditor to a bankruptcy proceedings brought against Creevey by New York public relations doyenne Ann Magnin.

The push to bankrupt Creevey came after Magnin won a $US665,000 judgment against Creevey in the Supreme Court of NSW in early 2017, including indemnity costs, over a deal linked to the float of the Australian tech company Yuuzoo he cofounded in Singapore in 2014.

Creevey is vigorously defending the Magnin-led push to bankrupt him. A bankruptcy hearing will be held in late May.

Scott blasts Clarkson over AFL comments

Scott blasts Clarkson over AFL comments Geelong mentor Chris Scott has accused Hawthorn coach Alastair Clarkson of using alternative facts in his AFL argument about free kicks for high tackles. "I can understand that it's an issue but it's not a new issue, the rules have been adjusted."Scott said he may well make contact with Clarkson. They have worked together as coaches on Australia's international rules team and also went to the United States together earlier this year for a coaching conference.Selwood won a contentious free kick early in last Monday's loss to the Hawks by shrugging his shoulders.

Ronald Belford " Bon " Scott (July 9, 1946 – February 19, 1980) was the lead singer, lyricist, and frontman of the Australian hard rock band, AC/DC, from 1974 until his death in 1980. -When I was married, my wife suggested I write a song about her.

A place where, very possibly, Bon saw a glimpse of the future he'd always wanted: a good-looking woman he could be happy with, a country that was offering him new chances. Bon Scott (centre) before AC/DC's appearance at Bill Graham's Day on the Green, Oakland, California, in July 1978.

In November last year, Fairfax Media revealed Creevey and his long-time business associate Mark Cramer-Roberts, along with Yuuzoo and its co-founder Thomas Zilliacus, had been accused of securities fraud in New York over alleged share transactions that took place ahead of Yuuzoo’s float.

Creevey and Cramer-Roberts have denied the claims, with Creevey telling Fairfax Media last year over email the allegations were “#fakenews”. The case in New York continues.

Later that month, Creevey’s was subject to a Sherrif’s auction in Singapore over a $4 million debt to Citibank.

A representative of the Singapore Supreme Court confirmed to Fairfax Media the forced auction of an apartment full of Creevey’s furniture and personal property – including a couch, television, two laptops and a framed guitar – went ahead as planned.

Bachelor In Paradise’s Jarrod Woodgate tells: “Ali was my rebound!”

Bachelor In Paradise’s Jarrod Woodgate tells: “Ali was my rebound!” It seems all it took was a trip to Paradise for Jarrod Woodgate to fully move on from Sophie Monk – and he attributes his date with co-star Ali Oetjen as the reason he is back in the dating game. "Ali was my test," he admits in an interview with Fitzy and Wippa. "[My date with] Ali was to see where I was at and if I was actually into the girl."Ali was, in a way, my rebound from Sophie [Monk]. I hadn't been on a date since Sophie and that was my first date in contact with a female outside of that."It was me testing to see where I was up to and as you saw, as soon as I came back [and] woke up the next day, back to Keira [Maguire].

My first impressions of the book: very readable – it makes a compelling story. The main tension which drives the tale is Bon ’s anti-establishment attitude – the desire to not be trapped into the You are currently browsing the Bon Scott Blog weblog archives for ' aussie -rock-history' tag.

Creevey, who ran Sydney’s popular club/venue X Studio in Kings Cross, also hit the headlines last year when he featured in the ABC Four Corner's program on the Paradise Papers last year over his alleged links to the estate of late rock star Michael Hutchence.

In recent months, Creevey has turned some of his focus to the launch of a PercuniaX – a crypto-currency wallet that mines a new type of crypto-currency.

According to a glossy white paper on the offering, the new cryptocurrency is a collaboration between Creevey’s production house Helipad Media and Yuuzoo.

The white paper explains Percunia as a coin for entertainment: “BitCoin is a huge success, but [sic] reality is very hard to mine, expensive and really show [s] [sic] little exit point for the average user out there today.

“Users can upload and view content, earn and purchase coins, receive very targeted ad’s [sic], and conduct commerce within the wallet,” the white paper says.

Some of the planned content includes a yet-to-be-made documentary on legendary AC/DC front man Bon Scott based on a book by one of the rocker’s lovers Mary Renshaw and co-writers John Darcy and Gabby Darcy.

Cryptocurrencies get AUSTRAC anti-money laundering and terrorism funding scrutiny

Cryptocurrencies get AUSTRAC anti-money laundering and terrorism funding scrutiny Cryptocurrency exchanges operating in Australia will now come under the scrutiny of Australia's financial intelligence agency, AUSTRAC, and be monitored for money-laundering and terrorism funding activities. The new law gives AUSTRAC the powers to police digital currency exchanges (DCEs) trading in a variety of crypto currencies including bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple.

When Bon Scott took the stage with AC/DC for the first time on Oct. There was such energy, probably because we were very young at the time and everything was new and fresh. Everything we did, so much energy was put out.

A new book claims Bon Scott may have died of a heroin overdose. Did Bon Scott take heroin on the night he died? “When he got to London the in thing was snorting smack, that was flooding London at the time, and it was brown heroin and very strong.

The white paper says the total value of the PercuniaX ICO is $40 million. The document stresses the ICO is for tokens for coins rather than a direct purchase of coins and that it is not an official prospectus.

But it looks like Creevey’s plans to enter into the cryptocurrency craze may have hit a small speed bump.

Well-known music entrepreneur Paul Cashmere, who is listed in the December 2017 white paper as  Percunia’s CEO and is publisher of music news website Noise11, tells Fairxa Media that he was not involved in the Percunia project at all and that the merger of his business Noise11, a music news with Helipad never went ahead.

It is also unclear where Yuuzoo is up to with Percunia.

Yuuzoo revealed to the Singapore stock exchange last week that Singapore police were investigating the company’s arrangements with related party franchises. Creevey is not a subject of the investigation.

Zilliacus, Creevey and Creevey's lawyers did not respond to inquiries as did Magnin's lawyers.

Bitcoin just dropped sharply and suddenly .
Bitcoin fell by more than 2% in a matter of minutes Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't immediately clear what may have caused the sudden drop, but Schneiderman's letters to 13 major cryptocurrency platforms, including New York-based Gemini and Coinbase's GDAX, could have a possible chilling effect on the crypto space at large.
