Ahmed Best, the actor who played Jar Jar Binks in the Star Wars prequels, has revealed he considered ending his life almost 20 years ago.

On Twitter the actor shared a photo of himself and his son looking over a body of water, and wrote: "20 years next year I faced a media backlash that still affects my career today.
