“I feel like Brooklyn has been in my DNA since ‘Welcome Back, Kotter,’ Travolta said, shouting out the Bensonhurst-based sitcom that launched his career.

As if on cue, someone rushed over to Travolta with a double-decker slice.

“Ready for this?,” Travolta asked the crowd. “Two. Two is good.”

As he bit into the slices of cheesy goodness, “Stayin’ Alive” came on, blasting from the speakers. The crowd went wild.. The fans flipped again when Travolta busted some dance moves, even doing the classic disco “point” seen on the movie poster.

“I just fell in love with him from `Welcome Back, Kotter,’” said Theresa Avellino-Santiago, 56, of Gravesend. “And then I just followed him, I was so happy to see him grow as an actor.

`Saturday Night Fever,’ I can watch it over and over again. I can’t wait to see ‘Gotti.’ ”
