Dave Hughes says no bad blood after Hughesy & Kate drive show cut short

Dave Hughes says no bad blood after Hughesy & Kate drive show cut short Dave Hughes has denied there being any bad blood between himself and ARN after the network took his drive show off air a week earlier than originally anticipated. The Hughesy & Kate show was due to run for another week before taking a break and jumping ship to Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network in 2018. However, after Friday afternoon's show the Melbourne radio presenters got a call from management informing them they wouldn't need to turn up to work the following week. Speaking to Fairfax Media, Hughes said while this could seem harsh from an outsider's perspective, it's just how the radio industry operates.

The network originally titled the special “The Monica Lewinsky Scandal,” but Lewinsky was not having it.

Lewinsky, who has emerged from her scandal-scarred past as an anti-bullying activist, suggested her own corrections to the name. She retweeted Tuesday a promo for the special, drawing a red line over the words “The Monica Lewinsky Scandal” and replacing it with her own suggestions: “The Starr Investigation” or “The Clinton Impeachment.”

Samantha Armytage hints at leaving breakfast television Samantha Armytage has hinted at her departure from breakfast program ‘Sunrise,’ saying: “Mornings are hard and I don't know what the future holds.” It comes amid speculation she's been headhunted by rival Network Ten.The broadcast journalist is an Aussie favourite and she's a network executive's dream host: intelligent, bubbly, and not afraid to stir up some controversy. So it comes as little surprise that she’s being “eyed” by the opposing network. require(["inlineoutstreamAd", "c.

On Twitter, Lewinsky crossed out the words “The Monica Lewinsky Scandal” and wrote in “The Starr Investigation” and “ The Clinton Impeachment.” Twitter users were split on the HLN controversy, with some arguing that the network ’s special ’s title does victimize Lewinsky .

Lewinsky had a rather withering comeback for CNN’s sister network after the announcement She crossed out ‘The Monica Lewinsky Scandal’ proffering a more accurate and appropriate title writing –. “ HLN to revisit ‘The Starr Investigation. The Clinton Impeachment’ with two hour special .”
