Still a diva! Mariah Carey suffered through a rough holiday season. She endured one of the most embarrassing moments in her career on New Year ' s Eve during a live performance in Times Square for Dick Clark’s New Year ’ s Rockin’ Eve — and now she’s speaking out about how she felt about her disastrous performance . Stella complained that producers failed to cut to commercial after the problems started, and she also said they refused to cut Mariah ’s performance from the West Coast feed — accusing them of sabotaging the singer in order to get a viral moment to improve ratings.

By now, we all know Mariah Carey has been lip syncing her live performances , but on New Year ’ s Eve , she was the center of a huge technical blunder. What will be logged as one of the all-time on stage fails didn’t stop there folks. Carey lip sync to the album version of “We Belong Together,” sometimes lowering her microphone as the high notes play on the speakers. Carey ’s rep says the stage blunder was due to “technical difficulties,” but from an onlookers eyes, looks like Carey can’t sing much anymore.
