If you had something else to do or your internet gave up on you when the latest episode of Game of Thrones released, then you are probably susceptible to the horror of Game of Thrones spoilers ' Game Of Thrones ' Season 7 Episode 7: Do Varys And Littlefinger Really Not Know About Jon Snow?

We know the agony of waiting for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones to premiere. Luckily, there have been plenty of mind-blowing fan theories to help pass the time.

But the creators behind TV's insanely popular show are going to great lengths to insure there are no spoilers ahead of the release of Season 8.

In a new interview, HBO president Casey Bloys confirmed that Game of Thrones will shoot multiple endings to mislead would-be leakers.

"I know Game of Thrones, the ending, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that nobody really know what happens," he said during an appearance at Moravian College in the US city of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, recently, according to Morning Call.

"You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end."

It's common practice for high-profile shows to film fake endings. As IndieWire pointed out, Game of Thrones previously shot a decoy with Kit Harington and a small dragon’s head purposely to throw off fans.

AMC's The Walking Dead did the same to conceal the identity of who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed at the end of Season 6.

Season 8 of Game of Thrones is rumoured to resume filming this October through August 2018. The final season is expected to premiere in 2019.
