ALDI supermarkets have had to recall an everyday product after it was found that the product failed to list its ingredients completely and correctly.

Food standards Australia New Zealand released a statement recalling the product immediately.

'ALDI takes product quality and safety seriously. ALDI wishes to advise all customers of a recall of the above products,' the statement reads.

The frozen vegetables were recalled after fears of a listeria outbreak.

Listeria is a rare but devastating illness which can cause severe illness caused by a build-up of bacteria.
