Thug randomly attacks office worker in CBD

Thug randomly attacks office worker in CBD Office Manager Simon Breheny has said he feels more worried about his safety after a thug attacked him at random in Melbourne’s CBD. Mr Breheny was leaving his office building in Collins Street via the fire escape late afternoon on a Wednesday, when he realised a man was lying across the doorway sleeping, blocking his path. The 30-year-old asked the man to move, which he did; but once the victim had passed him, the brute chased after him. First, he pushed him to the ground and onto the road – Mr Breheny managed to get up and take a photo of his attacker. But the assault continued.

He had ventured out alone before, and in any case, most of the ski ranges around his mountain home were littered with forest rangers whose job was to help stranded hikers. They say an avalanche is like a sleeping giant, waiting to be woken up by even the slightest of nudges.

He was also someone his entire country could take great PRIDE in, as he had been much talked about in the press as a chess genius. Hed had fears before he began his job that some of his co- workers might be too uptight and TAKE their work too seriously.

Mr Breheny, who works as policy director at a think tank, politely asked the man to move, saying, 'Excuse me mate, I need to get out.'

The man moved but then, after the businessman left the building in Collins Street in Melbourne's city centre, he says he was chased by him.
