  Wedding guests flee fire at luxury homestead retreat A bride and groom have been left devastated after fire ripped through their historic homestead wedding venue in Queensland's Lockyer Valley.About 100 guests and staff members were evacuated from Spicers Hidden Vale in Grandchester yesterday afternoon.

  Fire erupts in underground unit carpark Dozens of residents in Sydney’s south were forced out of their homes overnight when a large fire broke out in the carpark of a unit block. Fire crews found the blaze well alight in an underground carpark in Chapman Street at Gymea just after 1.30am today.It is unclear what caused the fire to erupt and it took emergency crews several hours to clear the smoke from the carpark. A number of residents were evacuated as a precaution.Nobody is believed to have been injured.The fire is being treated as suspicious. Firefighters were quickly on the scene but were unable to stop the blaze before it destroyed the property.
