"It's the first of its kind in Australia and we're excited that it will allow us to bring an additional 3,000 new visitors to Murraylands each year," Zoos SA chief executive Elaine Bensted said.

"With a number of tickets sold already, Lions 360 is set to be incredibly popular, so we're encouraging people to get in early and book their experience."

SA Tourism Minister Leon Bignell says the exhibition will draw local and international visitors.

South Australia's tourism industry is worth an estimated $6.3 billion, the minister said.
