What Is a Reducetarian? The New Way of Eating You Need to Know

What Is a Reducetarian? The New Way of Eating You Need to Know While the vegan diet is gaining popularity, we've also discovered a new diet for those of you who aren't quite ready to give up meat yet.But if you want to eat a more plant-based diet but don't want to give up meat entirely? Then maybe you should try being a reducetarian. It's a pretty simple concept: a reducetarian is someone who purposefully reduces their consumption of meat and other animal products. Although the reducetarian movement has roots in an environmental cause, a reducetarian doesn't have to have a specific reason for eating less meat.

A Rockaway couple had a run in with the real-life Yogi Bear on Thursday morning - but he wasn't after a picnic basket.

Christine Allen, who owns Mo'Pweeze vegan bakery in New Jersey, had left two dozen strawberry and chocolate raspberry cupcakes in her car overnight to prepare for an early morning delivery.

Her husband Adrian told DailyMail.com the couple woke up at 2am to hear 'some munching outside' and saw the 300lb bear, but thought he had been digging through the neighbour's garbage.

This Is the 1 Thing I Did Twice a Week to Break Through My Weight-Loss Plateau

This Is the 1 Thing I Did Twice a Week to Break Through My Weight-Loss Plateau Intermittent fasting (IF) isn't for everyone, but it's like my soulmate. We live together in perfect harmony, and I feel my best when I'm doing IF, specifically 16:8, where I eat from noon until 7 or 8 p.m. I know this works the best for me because I've experimented with a few different methods such as skipping dinner instead of breakfast (terrible for family dinners!) and shortening my eating window to four hours (really tough for gruelling CrossFit workouts!). I also tried stopping IF for two weeks, and I felt horribly bloated and tired the entire time, my sugar cravings increased, and I ended up gaining weight.

The real life Yogi Bear became public enemy number one in the snowy Graubunden region after reports of him raiding beehives and bins and stealing food from unsuspecting campers.

The next morning, Mr Allen walked outside and saw their son's car seat on the ground, along with things that had been in the trunk of the car. As he got closer, he saw the back passenger window had been smashed in.

'He took the boxes [of cupcakes] out and dragged them to a corner of the yard where he proceeded to open each and every one,' he said.

Mr Allen said the bear is lucky he picked their cupcakes to munch on, and not someone else's.

But it wasn't the lure of a picnic basket that led this real life Yogi bear to outsmart a group of scientists. The team had left a fresh deer carcass hanging from an electrified trap designed to deter animal' s from hunter' s kills.

Unlike his real - life friends, Yogi Bear is hardly ready to give up on picnic baskets just yet. Copy link to paste in your message. Mr Hopkins obtained bone and hair samples from bears killed from 1915 and onwards, including contemporary fur samples collected in Yosemite National Park.

What's The Deal With Oat Milk?

What's The Deal With Oat Milk? In the world of dairy-avoidance there are many "milks" that aren't actually milk, and their numbers are growing. The newest non-dairy elixir is oat milk, and people seem to be going crazy for it. My tastes tend to veer outside of the mainstream, but I've never really gotten into "alternative" milks. Though I am one of those creepy adults who will drink a whole glass of milk (I hate me, too), even I have been charmed by this new vegan oat extraction. What is it?Oat milk is made by soaking steel-cut oats (or whole groats) in water, then blending it all up and straining out the solids.

Category One bears who are caught can be euthanized under state law, but Allen said they hope that doesn't happen.

Stop Counting Meat Pies As Protein In Your Diet, Scientists Say .
Meat pie? Protein. Big Mac? Protein. Meatlovers pizza? Protein. If this is you when you're on a "high protein" "healthy" diet, scientists are about to kill your joy. The CSIRO Healthy Diet Score survey - which details the diets of 200,000 Australians, just showed people with "low-quality" diets obtained eight times more of their protein from junk foods than people with high-quality diets – and were more than three times as likely to be obese."Everyone's protein needs are different, and not all foods that contain protein are good for you," CSIRO Principal Research Scientist Professor Manny Noakes said.
